Sophomores Annika Mark and Sydney Kasahara, along with senior Victoria Jamison of Saugus High in California took three of the top five spots in the season-opening Palos Verdes Mini Meet on the 2-mile layout at the Palos Verdes Course in California. Mark clocked 12:14.11 to triumph for the Centurions, who were runner-up in the girls team competition with 38 points. Kasahara finished fourth in 12:39.20 and Jamison placed fifth in 12:40.75.
